About Earthscapes
Neville Ansell
15 years in the contracting industry mainly spent driving bobcats doing excavations for new homes and under existing homes for builders around the Auckland area, more often than not handed a set of plans and told to make it work which is what happens when Neville is on site.
Neville has the skills and experience to do things with bobcats that will shock, having worked on slip stabilisation jobs and doing the impossible in impossible conditions all over Auckland including various islands throughout the Hauraki Gulf. When Neville can't be found in the seat of a machine, you best look on the water somewhere, because he will be fishing somewhere rain, hail or shine. If he isn't fishing he will be watching fishing TV programmes, then you will be able to find him.
Karl Ansell
With a father like Neville and a can-do attitude it was going to be fairly difficult for Karl not to follow in his father's footsteps. After helping Neville out on jobs in the school holidays and learning to drive the machines, young Karl is a very capable operator in bobcats and even more so in his small excavator. Going places and doing things that would have 20 year veterans saying it can't be done, Karl is doing it fast, safe and to a high quality finish.
He has also studied horticulture and arboriculture which came from his love of gardening as a child and helping on the family farm. The arboriculture and horticulture fits in with the company extremely well allowing us to be a one-stop-shop for all aspects of work outside the home. Karl is an active member of the NZ Arboriculture Association. While not at work you will find Karl on the family farm or riding downhill mountain bikes or making new trails for the club to use.
